Building Maintenance Technician

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Technician.  The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the upkeep of the building and its surroundings.  This includes, but is not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical and cosmetic repairs.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily physical building rounds, inspection of the facility for issues to be repaired.
  • Preventive Maintenance rounds of facility.
  • Minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs of facility and equipment within. Painting a must.
  • All other assigned tasks as applicable.

Daily

  • Perform daily rounds and make corrections to lighting and cosmetic issues as needed.
  • Check maintenance request logs books minimum 3 times a day and make appropriate corrections.
  • Perform other duties requested by staff and supervisors within facility, including furniture moves, equipment repairs, problem solving issues as needed.

Weekly

  • Perform Preventive Maintenance rounds as assigned assessing different aspects of facility.
  • Perform any assigned special projects as designated by supervisor.
  • Work closely with supervisor to improve overall function of systems within facility. 

Monthly

  • Perform Monthly Physical inspection with supervisor to locate areas that need attention.
  • Perform monthly Preventive Maintenance checklists as assigned and make corrections as necessary. 

Education

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum two years on the job experience.
  • Minimum one year construction or professional trade experience is preferred.
  • Experience with multiple hand and power tools preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Including Driver's License)

Operator's Driver's License, must be insurable.
