Automotive Reconditioning Associate

The Automotive Reconditioning Associate will facilitate the process of used car reconditioning by keeping track of inventory, maintaining and improving on existing processes, and keeping open communication between departments. A successful applicant must be motivated to constantly improve on their own skills and take on new responsibilities as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the used car reconditioning process by communicating with sales managers, service department, and vendors
  • Perform an inspection of all used vehicle inventory in order to determine what work each unit needs to be front line ready
  • Determine what vehicle needs to go to which reconditioning step at what time based on a number of factors
  • Assist where possible in improving the reconditioning process
  • Move, wash, and inspect vehicle inventory as needed to keep up appearance
  • Assist salespeople in locating vehicle inventory as needed

Education and/or Experience

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • Automobile dealership experience preferred but not required
  • Must have high level organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (Including Driver's License)

  • Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable)
