Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Used Car Inventory Specialist to manage and maintain our pre-owned vehicle inventory. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of our vehicle listings, optimizing lot organization, and supporting sales efforts through timely, well-presented inventory updates. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of vehicle types, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Inspect and document all incoming used vehicle inventory
Accurately enter and update vehicle information in inventory management systems (e.g., VIN, features, condition)
Ensure timely posting of used vehicles across online platforms (dealership website, third-party listing sites)
Coordinate with service and reconditioning teams to track vehicle readiness
Organize and maintain the lot inventory for optimal visibility and sales presentation
Monitor inventory aging and assist in pricing or promotional strategies
Maintain up-to-date records for all vehicle titles, keys, and documentation
Collaborate with sales and management teams to meet sales goals and ensure inventory needs are met
Conduct regular audits to ensure all inventory is accounted for and properly listed
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience in automotive inventory, sales, or lot operations is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
Ability to operate vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
